What do I need to bring for my trip?

We recommend bringing weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks, drinks, and a cooler if you plan to keep any fish under 15 pounds. We provide all fishing gear, bait, and safety equipment.

Do I need a fishing license?

Yes, everyone aged 16 and older will need a valid Kentucky or Ohio fishing license depending on where we are fishing. Licenses can easily be purchased online before your trip.

 

Can children come on the trip?

Absolutely! Goldfish Charters is family-friendly and welcomes anglers of all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult and wear life jackets while on board.

 

What if I don’t want to fish?

No problem! We offer relaxing recreational river tours where you can sit back, enjoy the scenery, and unwind. Fishing is optional — it’s your day!

 What types of trips do you offer?

Do you offer tubing, skiing, or other water sports?

No. We focus strictly on fishing, cruising, and river tours. We do not provide water sports activities such as tubing, skiing, or wakeboarding.

Yes! We are fully licensed and insured to ensure a safe, professional experience for all guests.

 

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is always our first priority. If severe weather forces a cancellation, we will work with you to reschedule your trip or provide a refund.
